One-Click Publishing to WordPress

How categories, tags, and featured images get set automatically.

When an article is approved (or auto-published), SynaPost fills in the details a normal post needs – not just the body text.

What gets set automatically

  • Category – matched to one of your site’s existing categories, chosen when the topic was created.
  • Tags – generated to match the article’s content.
  • Featured image – either a real AI-generated thumbnail or a free placeholder graphic, depending on your image settings.

Because everything lands in real WordPress categories and tags, published content works with any theme and any other plugin the same way a manually-written post would – including your SEO plugin, which reads the same fields it always has.

Controlling how it publishes

Under Settings → Publishing, the Publish Status option decides what happens the moment an article clears approval:

  • Publish immediately – goes live right away.
  • Schedule for the topic’s publish date – goes live automatically on the date set on the topic.
  • Mark pending review (manual publish) – stays as a draft until you publish it yourself from the normal Posts screen.

You can also set a Default Author here, which is worth doing since automated, unattended runs have no logged-in user to credit otherwise.
