How it works
While generating an article, SynaPost is given a set of your real, already-published URLs as candidates and links to them naturally within the text where relevant. Because only real, existing URLs are ever used, you’ll never end up with a link to a page that doesn’t exist.
How it affects your SEO score
Whether an article contains at least one internal link is one of the checks that make up your SEO score – it’s a pass/fail check, not a count, so one relevant link is enough to satisfy it.
If you want more control
Since linking happens as part of generation, the best way to influence it is the same as influencing any other part of the draft: add a note in the Instructions field when generating or regenerating (for example, “link to our pricing page”), or edit the published post manually afterward to add or adjust links yourself.
