Once set up, SynaPost checks for due topics and generates them automatically, without you needing to click anything.
How it’s scheduled
Automation runs on WordPress’s own scheduling system (WP-Cron), which fires based on site visits rather than a system clock. On a low-traffic site this can mean a run happens a little later than its scheduled time – if that matters to you, ask your host about enabling a real system cron for WP-Cron.
Setting how much gets generated
Under Settings → Advanced, Max articles generated per run caps how many articles a single automated run will produce. If this is set to 0, automation will run on schedule but generate nothing – worth checking first if automation seems to have stopped working.
Checking it’s working
The Dashboard’s Automation status card shows whether daily generation is scheduled, when it will next run, and when it last ran. If something looks off, see Why isn’t my daily automation running?
Need more than once a day?
This covers the default: one run, every day, at a single time. If you’re publishing at higher volume, see Scheduling Multiple Automation Times for running several times a day and choosing which days automation is active at all.
